BIOGRAPHY
Dr Monika Giannopoulos graduated from the United Medical and
Dental School of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals (part of the University
of London) in 1999. She graduated
with Distinction and during her studies won numerous awards and prizes.
In 1999 she registered with the General Dental Council of
Britain ( Registration No. 76535), allowing her to work as a General Dental
Practitioner in the United Kingdom, as well as the other countries of the European
Union.
She worked in a private practice in London
(Whitecross Dental Care, Enfield Branch) for two years, until she moved to the United
Arab Emirates. In March 2002 she received an
evaluation certificate from the UAE Ministry of Health. She worked at Tawam
Dental Center
in Al Ain from the summer of 2002 until March 2005.
Since graduation she has continued to keep up to date with
the latest technologies and techniques by attending numerous postgraduate
courses. Her special interest lies in restorative dentistry, specifically
aesthetic dentistry. She is currently in the process of preparing for the
second part of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons examination.
